The Learner Information System (LIS) Beginning of School Year (BOSY) encoding for Kindergarten to Grade 10 is officially underway for School Year 2026-2027.

To ensure the accurate allocation of national education resources and keep learner registries updated, all schools are directed to update their learners’ respective profiles. Please pay close attention to ensuring the accurate tagging and reporting of the following key information:

📋 Key Learner Profile Taggings to Update

Ensure that all eligible learners are accurately flagged under these four critical categories:

1. Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM)

Properly identify learners under specialized learning setups. Accurate tagging ensures that the department can monitor and provide targeted support for those in alternative learning programs.

2. School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP)

Ensure that all designated beneficiaries of the SBFP are correctly tagged. Accurate data directly impacts the funding, delivery, and distribution of nutritional support to our learners.

3. Body Mass Index (BMI)

Input current physical health and nutritional records. Keeping BMI records accurate helps the Department of Education monitor learner health trends and plan student welfare programs effectively.

4. Educational Service Contracting (ESC)

For participating private schools, ensure that all ESC grantees are properly identified and linked in the system to guarantee seamless processing of government subsidies and tuition assistance.

Double-check all entered records for spelling accuracy, correct spelling of names, and exact status designations before finalizing. Accurate baseline data at the beginning of the school year prevents enrollment disputes and delays in division-wide processing later on.
